Sylvaneth Revenant Blue

My Sylvaneth army is a autumn themed army. I use a lot of orange flocks to improve the natural aspect of the army and give a strong autumn aesthetic. So when I needed to settle for a revenant color, I hesitated between green and blue. Blue is orange’s complementary color, so I chose blue. I use and airbrush and then a regular brush.

Process

Airbrush

• Uniform coat of Sotek Green
• Zenithal highlight with Baharroth Blue
• Very small highlights of Verdigris
• Correct the overly desaturated areas with nadiral spraying of Vallejo Cold Green

Brush

• Highlights with Verdigris
• Highlights with Verdigris + pure white
• Very little highlights with pure white
